Compeddit — Competitor Monitor

Open Telegram and search for @reddalert101_bot
Tap on it and hit the blue Start button at the bottom. The bot will say hello — that means it's working! 👋

Tell the bot which competitor to watch
Type /monitor and send it. The bot will ask you for a competitor name — just type the name (e.g. Notion or HubSpot) and send. That's it! Compeddit will now scan Reddit every hour for mentions of that competitor. You can add more competitors anytime by repeating this step.

Find your Chat ID so this dashboard knows it's you
On Telegram, search for @userinfobot and hit Start. It will instantly reply with a number — that's your Chat ID. Copy it and paste it in the box below. You'll only need to do this once!

Add Compeddit to your Slack workspace
Go to the homepage and click the "Connect with Slack" button. You'll be taken to Slack's website — just follow the prompts and pick your workspace. Takes about 30 seconds!

Go to any channel in Slack and start monitoring
In the channel where you want to receive alerts, type /monitor and press Enter. Slack will show a small form — type in your competitor's name (e.g. Notion) and submit. Compeddit will start scanning Reddit and posting alerts right in that channel!

Get your Channel ID for this dashboard
In the same Slack channel, type /dashboard and press Enter. The bot will reply with a code that looks like slack:C1234ABCD. Copy that whole thing (including the "slack:" part) and paste it in the box below.

Add Compeddit to Discord
Click the "Add to Discord" button on the homepage. On the next screen, you can either add it to a server you own, or choose "Add to my account" if you just want to use it in a private DM — no server needed!

Start monitoring a competitor
Open a DM with the bot (search "Compeddit" in Discord) or go to any channel it's been added to. Type /monitor — Discord will show a dropdown, just fill in your competitor's name and hit Enter. The bot will confirm it's watching and start sending you alerts!

Get your Channel ID for this dashboard
In the same chat with the bot, type /dashboard and press Enter. The bot will reply with a code that starts with discord: followed by a long number — copy the whole thing and paste it in the box below.
