Terms of Use — Compeddit

Welcome to Compeddit. By accessing or using the Compeddit service — including the Telegram bot (@reddalert101_bot), web dashboard, and any associated APIs — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The Service

Compeddit provides automated Reddit monitoring that scans publicly available Reddit posts for keywords you configure, classifies them using AI, and delivers alerts via Telegram. The service is provided "as is" and is intended for business intelligence and competitive research purposes only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Compeddit. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are using it for lawful purposes.

3. Account & License

Free tier access is granted immediately on starting the bot. No account registration is required.
Pro and Lifetime plans are accessed via a license key purchased through Gumroad. License keys are non-transferable and for single-user use only.
You are responsible for keeping your license key confidential. Sharing or reselling license keys is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate suspension.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Compeddit to:

Monitor individuals for harassment, stalking, or any form of targeted abuse.
Collect personal data from Reddit users beyond what is publicly displayed.
Circumvent Reddit's Terms of Service or any applicable law.
Automate responses to Reddit posts in a spammy or deceptive manner based on alerts received.
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the service without our written consent.

5. Service Availability & Limitations

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Reddit's availability, API changes, or our underlying infrastructure (Cloudflare Workers) may occasionally affect alert delivery. Free-tier users receive 2 alert runs total; Pro users receive hourly automated scans; Lifetime users receive the same as Pro, indefinitely.

We reserve the right to change, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

6. Payments & Refunds

All payments are processed by Gumroad. Monthly Pro subscriptions can be cancelled anytime via Gumroad — you retain access until the end of the billing period. Lifetime purchases are final. Refunds may be issued at our discretion within 7 days of purchase if the service did not function as described — contact us at our contact page.

7. Intellectual Property

Compeddit's code, brand, visual design, and content are owned by the creator. You may not copy, resell, or create derivative products based on Compeddit without written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee that Reddit posts returned are complete, accurate, or actionable.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Compeddit and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost business opportunities or revenue.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
